So we flew into San Diego and ended up staying the night with at Andrew's parents home. The next morning Andrew and I went to the beach to just enjoy the fresh ocean air. Oh and Andrew went for a beach run while I watched haha. But anyways, I just absolutely love the moisture in the air and the water. I have missed it, especially since Utah can sometimes have pretty dry weather. We then enjoyed our morning and saw Andrew's nieces and nephews which is always so fun! Family time is the best time!
That afternoon Andrew and I drove Fontana to see my family. Can I just say how happy my heart was to see my parents, and my little brother Thomas? We ended up going swimming at the Claremont Club and then had dinner at the best Chinese restaurant ever called China Point. I'm pretty sure I talked about this place at least twice a month to Andrew--and I'm so glad we were finally able to go. Needless to say, Andrew was not disappointed and loves it now as much as I do!
Later that evening we visited my sister Kate, her husband Johnny, and her two little boys. She recently had a baby in April, and although I met JP, her newborn, briefly at our wedding, I hadn't really gotten a chance to hold him. I just about died at how cute he is! I loved being able to also chat with Kate as we caught up on what's going on in each other's lives!
The next day, Sunday, Andrew and I went to church with my parents at the family ward. It's always so fun to go back to the ward I grew up in--and it crazy how all of the kids I used to baby sit are now in high school. YIKES! I must be getting old. I really enjoyed getting to attend relief society with my mom. That was the best!
Once we got home, Marki came over for dinner, which is basically the best thing ever. Now, many of you probably know (cause we post about it all the time haha) but Marki and I have been best friends since 5th grade, so we always get super excited when we get to reunite! I have been so blessed to have made a lifelong friend, and even though we don't get to see each other all the time, it's like we were never apart when we reunite! My grandparents also came over to visit which even brought more joy to my soul. I would consider me and my G&G Bourgeous to be pretty close, so seeing them made the trip ever better (if that's even possible)!
We travelled back towards San Diego that evening, stopping in Murrieta to visit Andrew's brother and his wife, and their four kids. The rest of Andrew's family also were there as we celebrated little Calvy's (the youngest nephews) birthday. He is pretty much the cutest little boy and is talking so much! I love how he says "Andrew's" name and "Fishy." He is absolutely in love with Dory, and basketball. A pretty good combination if you ask me!
Labor Day spent with Andrew's family. One of the things I have loved about being married is that I inherited a whole new family! I love the Clarks and I feel so blessed to be a part of such a fun, loving, and Christ-Like family. We ended up shopping (well me and Andrew's sister Rachel did) playing games, chatting, and eating the most delicious...and might I say largest shrimp I have ever eaten. I wish I would have gotten a picture of them, cause they were huge!
That Monday (Labor Day) we flew out back to Salt Lake, and I will admit, I was kind of sad. I loved seeing our families and I have missed California so much. I do know though that living in Utah has been perfect for Andrew and I as we have started our little family together. I am so thankful for the knowledge that families can be together forever, and that some of greatest joys in life can be found in our homes. I am also so thankful for all the blessings I enjoy, as I see that it is all through that hands of a loving Father in Heaven who knows and wants us to be so happy!
God is good. And so is pizza! So go eat some!

Don't mind my frizzy hair. The ocean air felt sooooo good.
I realized after we had eaten most of the food that I never got a picture of it all. So sorry...but it was good that it went so fast.
I love my Thomas so much!
Me and my best bud!
The competition got real. R-E-A-L.
Jacuzzi time! I think their faces definitely let you know they were having fun!
