This July has been one of the best months yet! I have loved being able to celebrate the birth of our country and to spend time with my family.
Andrew's family came to visit for the fourth of July and it was a blast. We were able to go to Stadium of Fire, swimming, and enjoy all of holiday festivities. We also saw Finding Dory which I really enjoyed. Andrew's nephew loves saying "Fichy" and "Dory." Probably some of the cutest words I've ever heard out of a baby's mouth.
Fourth of July weekend I was also sustained as Young Women's Second Counselor in my ward. It meant so much to have family there to support me! It's so crazy to think i'm working with the youth when I still feel that I am one haha. I am so thankful for all of the wonderful young women leaders I have had as a youth as they helped me get where I am today. I really hope I can be an influence for good and bless the lives of those young women I work with. They are all so amazing.
Also, Haley came to visit us! She was only here for a few days, but It was the best! We were able to go to this cute bakery called "Eva's" and also went to do temple baptisms for names my mom had found. And then, we had all-you-can-eat sushi. Can you say YUM?!?
Early the next morning Haley and I got donuts before she left. Haley and I have always been really close so it was so great to see her and just chat about life--and to end her visit with one of our favorite treats.
I am so thankful for my family, and also for the family Andrew and I have created. When we were sealed, it hit me that even though we didn't have children yet, we had created an eternal family. There is true joy in having and being a part of a family!

ps Andrew and I celebrated our three month anniversary this month. I am so thankful for Andrew; his love, his patience, his sense of humor, and his goodness. We have had so much fun together and it makes me so happy knowing he's mine forever!

Haley's visit wouldn't be complete without a trip to Target. Haha
