OUR WEDDING DAY

It has been one month since Andrew and I were married in the Los Angeles LDS Temple, and can I say, what an awesome month of marriage, and amazing day our wedding was! Being married in the temple to my sweetheart had been something I'd dreamed about since a little girl, and it felt so surreal that it ACTUALLY HAPPENED! After numerous hours of planning (mostly on our parents end...thanks Mom & Wendy) when the day came, I was so at peace, and so excited. Nothing can compare with making sacred covenants in the temple that not only bring you closer to your spouse, but to God. 

 The Los Angeles Temple is a very special place, as it is where both me and Andrew's parents were married--and April 16th is an even more special day because it is my Grandpa and Grandma Bourgeous' wedding anniversary! It was truly a blessing to be sealed on the same day as my grandparents. They are two of the most loving, selfless, and Christ-like people that Andrew and I admire so much! We hope to follow their righteous examples as we begin our own family!

Our sealing took place around 11 am, and we spent a couple hours taking pictures, and then headed back to Rancho Cucamonga, where we had the reception later that evening. It was such a special moment to walk out of the temple, hand in hand with Andrew, and have everyone waiting for us, to cheer us on! Definitely a moment I will never forget. 

Overall, our wedding day was nothing short of amazing from the dinner the night before, the sealing, to the reception. Andrew and I feel so incredibly blessed to be surrounded, supported, and loved by so many family and friends.

And...here are some photos from our wedding day! We feel so grateful that we had Jenolyn Christensen take our bridal and wedding photos. She was nothing short of amazing, and her photos were exactly what we wanted! We highly recommend her if you need a photographer. She is so extremely easy and wonderful to work with and captures your vision of what you want!
