SURPRISE!

this was completely spontaneous, but i decided to surprise my fam for fourth of july weekend--which meant a 13 hr car ride from idaho to california. i only told my brother lucas and grandparents, so not having everyone else know was SO FUN! when i first got home no one answered the door....so i went through the back door in the garage. my mom was the only one home and she was so surprised. that made it all worth it. from swimming, to eating, plus all the fun family convos, it was an amazing weekend. 

those couple days I was home reminded me that it's really my family that matters most. there is so much joy in spending time with the people you love most! so take the time to spend time with your loved ones. every moment counts!

 tried to take a picture with thomas. this is the best we could do, sure love this precious little brother of mine. 

 annie was upset because we hadn't taken any pictures with each other...so naturally we took a selfie. 

 words cannot express how much i love this father of mine. he has always been there for me when i needed a fathers blessing, life counsel, or just a good talk. he has shown me what it means to truly love God with all of your heart and put the gospel first. i hope one day i can be as selfless and loving as he is. life goals right here.
