Spring Break Goodness

i had a week in-between semesters for school so i knew i had to do as much as i could...and i think i accomplished this. so much has happened this week--and it has been all good! i am so thankful and blessed with an AMAZING life.  I have a wonderful family, supportive friends, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. joy is all i can do to describe how i feel.

here are some of the fun things that i was able to do this week!

HOME
Fontana, CA

my parents had mercy on my soul and flew me home for the week. i am so thankful! i love idaho, but i needed some california sunshine in my life. the first night i came home, we went to hometown u.s.a burger and stuffed our faces with too much food. i snapped this cute picture of thomas. he has gotten so much bigger these last three months. he is one of the most fun, happy and smartest kids i know. i've loved every second i have been able to spend with him. we are bffs for life.

RAC Concert
 | Pomona, CA |

so i love musics. so much--and when i found out that that RAC was performing nearby i got super excited. i invited a couple of my high school friends and we went on tuesday night. it was soooo legit. they were so great live...it was a party. yep. i was satisfied.

Bowers Museum
Santa Ana, CA

my bestfriend had to go to a museum for one of her classes and asked if i wanted to come along. the museum is located in santa ana and had a ton of cool stuff. marki and i weren't so sure how much we were going to like it, but we actually had a really good time. i snapped a few pictures of some of my favorite paintings. also, the grounds of the museum were super pretty!

Bruxie
Orange, CA

since i only had a week in california, i knew that i needed to eat as much good food as i could. i love love bruxie. its a delicious waffle place that serves the best strawberry lemonade.

Sprinkles Cupcakes
Costa Mesa, CA

okay. i know, i'm a fattie. but since we were in the area, we had to get some spinkles cupcakes. they are some of my favorites. i wanted to get just three, but then the lady was like, "do you want to get four to fill your box" to which i replied "sure."! clearly it does not take much for me to be convinced to buy more sweets haha. my sisters were pretty happy though when i brought them back cupcakes. i say i did good.

Homemade Pizza with My Grandparents
Fontana, CA

whenever i go home i always make it an effort to spend time with my grandparents. they are some of my favorite people and i love getting to talk to them about everything. i promised my grandpa that we would make homemade pizza, which we did. it turned out pretty well, which i was thankful for. sometimes my cooking can be a hit or miss. i'm glad i succeeded!

Crepes De Paris
Rancho Cucamonga, CA

i had lunch with my dad and eldest sister kate near their work in victoria gardens. i tried a savory crepe for the first time, and it was SOO GOOD! and plus we shared some sweet crepes. plus delicious hot chocolate. i was so full after that meal. but so worth it.

i knew i liked this place...because they have tons of nutella in the window haha

Frozen Station
Fontana, CA

it's a tradition to get frozen yogurt with my little bro whenever i go home. he loves all the fruity flavors and gets so much sweets to put on top of it. he never seems to finish it all, but i still let him fill up his cup to the top. i have a hard time saying no to this boy. i miss him so much when i'm at school.

overall, my break was SO nice. i loved being home with my family. there is no better feeling then being with the people you love.

xo, erin
