SUMMA VACAY

a few yeas ago annie started calling vacation "vacay." she always seems to come up with the best nicknames for pretty much every word. 

so, we went on summa vacay! it was pretty rad. we started off in san diego at mormon battalion. if you haven't been there I definitely recommend it. there's some cool talking pictures and plus we panned for gold. thomas kept asking me how much it was worth. haha how i love this kid! after we toured the battalion we went to a delicious Mexican restaurant. my mom ordered this tostada, not knowing it would be larger than her face. she liked it though despite it being HUGE! plus there was this legit mariachi band that played while we ate. so good.

that night we ventured to arizona to visit family in phoenix. besides chilling with family we stayed at this sweet resort. there were TONS of pools and a lazy river. we definitely put the LAZY is lazy river. it was SO hot, so being in the water was a must. we truly had a blast!

i was also able to go to the coolest fabric store alive named SAS. yep. i scored sweet fabrics at a really low cost. i will be making some pretty amazing dresses that i can't wait to wear. 

also, i truly do LOVE spending time with my family. i am so grateful to have special moments like these with them. i'll never forget all of the great memories we have made!
