In-N-Out, I Love You



Joy, pure joy
So with it being the New Year and all, I promised myself that I would eat better--which means eliminating the foods I love most--sugar, bread, and  (drum roll please)....chocolate. Don't worry though, I still give myself a day a week to eat what I want, so I don't go crazy.

Eating healthy is something I struggle with, especially when there are so many good foods out there. Trust me, if anyone loves a good piece of chocolate cake, I DO. But, even though I love food, I have decided that I can be healthy, and still eat the things I want. That's where moderation comes in.

While  I was on my lunch break at work today, all I could think about was In-N-Out (bad idea). I mean, oranges and grapes are good, but are they are good as a cheeseburger with grilled onions. 

Not even close.

I was trying so hard to think about how tasty my healthy meal was, but I couldn't stop thinking about that burger. So, I found a way to still get my burger, and not consume too many calories.

One more reason for me to love In-N-Out....PROTEIN STYLE! You can swap the bun for lettuce and the calories are around 350 for everything on it besides the bread. It is such a better alternative and still is yummy. 

You know where  to find me when it's lunch time, and dinner time, and breakfast...and every other meal time haha--In-N-Out all the way.
